DESKTOP CLIENT · NETWORK TOKENIZATION · NO TEXT RETENTION

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: October 20, 2026 · Version 1.0

The desktop client requires an internet connection before every rewrite: text or fragments are sent to our US server for tokenization, then the client rewrites locally. Submitted text is processed only in server memory and cleared when the request completes; it is not stored in logs, databases, caches, or backups. This does not mean no personal data is stored: license, transaction, and support records are handled separately below.

01 / Who is responsible

Mayi Network Technology Studio (玛谊网络科技工作室), an individual business operator in China, operates KeepAIOut and is responsible for the processing described here. Contact support@keepaiout.com for privacy requests, complaints, or questions. This policy covers the desktop client, our tokenization service, website, licensing, and support. Third-party payment and support providers also have their own policies.

02 / Required network processing

Before each rewrite, the client sends the submitted text or fragments to a server operated by us in the United States to obtain tokenization results. The client then applies its editing rules locally. This connection is required and cannot be turned off while rewriting. If you do not want text transmitted to the United States, do not submit it or use rewriting. Do not submit sensitive personal information or confidential material without the necessary authority. The server inevitably handles the connection address transiently to respond, but our tokenization service does not retain IP addresses, request timestamps, or request/error logs. This no-retention statement applies to that service, not to website analytics, payments, email, or chat.

03 / Text and local files

Our tokenization server uses submitted text solely to return tokenization results. It processes text in memory, clears it on request completion, and does not write it to logs, databases, caches, or backups. We do not use submitted text to train models, build a content library, or sell it. Network transmission and temporary processing still occur even without retention. Files you choose to save or export remain on your device under your control; deleting them is your responsibility. This policy does not claim the operating system, local backups, or other software never retains local copies. Drafts voluntarily emailed or sent through chat become support records and are not covered by the tokenization no-retention rule.

04 / License, payment, and support information

The free trial does not require login, registration, or card details. Paid licensing uses your purchase email, order reference/status, license term, and the device identifiers and binding records necessary to manage up to 5 computers and rebinding. We store those necessary records. Waffo Pancake handles checkout and card data; we do not store full card numbers or card security codes. We receive or retain the transaction information necessary for delivery, refunds, and legal accounting obligations. Email and Tawk.to support process what you send, such as your email, order reference, message, and attachments. Please never send passwords, full card details, or unnecessary personal data.

05 / Purposes and legal bases

We use text for the requested tokenization, license records for activation and device management, transaction records for payment/delivery/refunds, and messages to answer support requests. Where applicable, these activities rely on contract performance; legally required accounting or disclosures rely on legal obligations. Necessary security and dispute handling may rely on legitimate interests where that basis is legally available and balanced against your rights. Optional processing requiring consent will rely on a separate choice, not merely continued browsing. We do not sell personal information, use submitted text for advertising, or enroll you in marketing merely because you purchase or contact us.

06 / Retention and deletion

Tokenization text: request duration only, then cleared from server memory; no persistent copies. Tokenization IP addresses, request timestamps, and request/error logs: not retained. Active license email, necessary order reference, and current device bindings: kept for the license term, including the ongoing Lifetime term. Unnecessary records after license termination or device rebinding: deleted within 30 days; current bindings needed for an active license remain. Support messages and attachments: retained for 1 month, then deleted from records we control; the same deletion period applies to support email and Tawk.to conversations. Transaction evidence that law or an active dispute requires us to keep is restricted to that purpose and deleted when that requirement ends; it is not falsely described as universally deleted after 1 month. Provider-controlled records follow the provider’s own applicable rules. Local browser preferences remain until cleared.

07 / Website storage, analytics, and chat

This website stores the language selection under keepaiout-language in your browser’s local storage. You can clear site data or block browser storage; language switching still works for the current page. Every page loads Tawk.to chat, and the home page loads Cloudflare Web Analytics. These providers can receive connection/browser information and may use their own storage or cookies; chat also receives what you send. Website hosting may process access data under its own rules. The tokenization server’s zero-log policy does not cover these providers. The site currently has no built-in consent manager or analytics toggle; browser blocking tools can prevent optional external scripts, but chat may then stop working. Where prior consent is required by law, optional tools must not be loaded without that consent.

08 / Providers and disclosures

We disclose information only as needed for the requested service, payment, support, compliance, or a separately authorized purpose. Waffo Pancake processes payments; Tawk.to provides chat; Cloudflare provides home-page analytics; hosting/network providers carry requests. Our own US server handles tokenization, rather than forwarding that request to a third-party model service. A provider may have independent legal retention duties. We may disclose data in response to a valid legal requirement, limited to what is necessary. A business transfer does not remove existing privacy obligations. Third-party evaluation tools named on the home page do not receive your text merely because their names are listed.

09 / Cross-border processing

The operator is in China and the tokenization server is in the United States. Submitting a rewrite therefore transmits text to the United States even though it is not retained there. Payment, chat, email, and website providers may also process data in their operating regions. Do not submit material that you are not permitted to transfer. We must apply the legal basis, notices, separate consent, assessments, or contractual safeguards required for the applicable transfer. We do not claim an adequacy finding, signed standard contractual clauses, certifications, or completed transfer assessments that have not been established. If a required safeguard is absent, the affected transfer must not proceed; continued use alone does not replace a legal safeguard.

10 / Security and incidents

Minimizing text retention reduces persistent copies but does not make transmission risk-free. We do not claim unverified encryption certifications, audits, or security guarantees. Keep your operating system and client updated, protect license credentials, and avoid sending secrets through support. If an incident affects personal information, we will investigate, contain the impact, and notify affected people or authorities within the periods required by applicable law. No universal 72-hour promise or unverified security certification is made here.

11 / Your choices and rights

Contact support@keepaiout.com to request information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. We may request proportionate proof of ownership, not unnecessary sensitive identity documents. We aim to respond within 30 calendar days, subject to any shorter legal deadline; lawful extensions or refusals will be explained. Deleting records required to validate an active license may prevent continued validation, and mandatory transaction retention may limit deletion. We cannot retrieve tokenization text that was never retained or remotely delete your local files. You may complain to the competent data-protection authority. You can choose not to submit text, clear local storage, block optional website tools, and use email instead of chat.

12 / Minors and communications

Purchases are intended for adults aged 18 or over, or must be made through a legally authorized guardian as stated in the Terms. Do not submit children’s personal information or sensitive information without lawful authority. If a child’s information is provided without the required authority, contact support so we can investigate and delete information we control where legally appropriate. Purchase, security, and support messages are not marketing subscriptions. We do not send marketing without a separate lawful basis; any future optional marketing must provide an opt-out.

13 / Changes and contact

Material changes will be announced on this website at least 15 days before taking effect, except where an earlier change is legally required; the date above will be updated. We will seek separate consent when required, and changes do not retroactively authorize unrelated use of previously collected data. This policy is not a blanket consent for every processing activity. For privacy, deletion, security, or complaints, contact Mayi Network Technology Studio (玛谊网络科技工作室), China, at support@keepaiout.com. Provider privacy notices are linked below; our duties are not removed merely because a provider is involved.
