01 / What the product is for

The intended purpose is to improve the wording, clarity, rhythm, and readability of English drafts, including AI-assisted writing. The product is not marketed as a way to evade detection, misrepresent authorship, or bypass school, workplace, or publisher rules. It does not provide image, video, face-swap, or voice-generation features.

02 / Prohibited use

Do not use the product to create, polish, distribute, or facilitate any of the following:

• Pornographic / NSFW content, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual intimate content.
• Graphic violence, gore, threats, or instructions that facilitate physical harm.
• Hate speech, dehumanization, or incitement to discrimination against protected groups.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualization of minors, grooming, or other child-unsafe content.
• Deepfakes, impersonation, fabricated statements attributed to real people, fraud, or deceptive identity claims. Consent does not override the prohibition on deepfake use.
• Copyright or trademark infringement, plagiarism, unauthorized reuse, or false ownership claims.

03 / Your responsibilities

Only edit material you own or are authorized to use. Do not upload other people’s personal information, photos, or voice recordings without their permission; the editor is text-only. Verify facts, citations, and meaning yourself, and disclose AI assistance wherever required. Editing suggestions are not professional advice or guarantees of originality.

04 / Safety, reports, and enforcement status

This website does not accept prompts, generate output, or provide a public gallery. We do not claim the client includes automatic input/output filtering, human review, or moderation logging. Submitted tokenization text is not retained; we do not inspect or remotely delete local drafts. These technical limits do not permit prohibited use.

For reports or appeals, contact support@keepaiout.com or use online support. Provide the relevant facts and order reference where applicable, without unnecessary personal data. We assess reports using the information provided and handle confirmed violations under the Terms of Service. We do not claim we can inspect or remotely delete local drafts.

05 / Core technology & brand disclosure

KeepAIOut is an independent, self-developed desktop text-polishing tool. Its core editing engine integrates an extensive set of built-in rules for local text processing, rather than forwarding each edit to a hosted model API. Self-developed refers to the core editing engine, not a claim that every underlying library or system component is proprietary. Any third-party components or models included in the released application must be accurately disclosed with their applicable licenses. No provider endorsement or certification is claimed.

06 / Privacy & local processing

The client is not fully offline. Every rewrite transmits text or fragments to our own US server for tokenization before local rewriting. Submitted text is processed in memory and cleared on completion, without text, IP, timestamp, or request/error-log retention by that service. License and support records are retained separately. See the Privacy Policy for retention, providers, cross-border processing, and your rights.

Every page embeds Tawk.to support; the home page also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. These services contact their providers and may process connection data, identifiers, and anything sent through chat. Email support receives the information you choose to send. Do not send drafts, passwords, or payment-card details. Hosting and network providers may process IP addresses and request logs. The language switch stores your language locally in this browser. These website services are separate from the client's local text processing.

07 / Pricing & license transparency

Prices are in USD, with final totals and taxes displayed at Waffo Pancake checkout. Reference prices are not past sales records. Every plan, including the free trial and Lifetime, includes free upgrades to released KeepAIOut versions during its valid license term. “Unlimited” concerns software quotas within a valid license term, not hardware capacity or unlimited hosted services. The Terms of Service explain licensing, device bindings, and refunds; the Privacy Policy explains data processing.

One paid email account. Up to 5 computers.

After payment, each email account supports up to 5 computers during its license term. If all 5 slots are bound and you need to use another computer, contact support@keepaiout.com to change a device binding; the limit remains 5 computers. The free trial still requires no login or registration.

If all 5 computer slots are bound, contact support@keepaiout.com to change a binding before using another computer. For binding changes or refund requests, provide your purchase email and order reference. Refund eligibility is subject to the applicable refund terms and law.
